Often completed as part of a crown reduction or crown thinning operation in order to minimise the danger of falling debris in areas of public access. Trees with a high degree of heartwood such as oak can safely retain a degree of dead wood as an important habitat for wildlife. Indeed, dead trees may even be made safe by reducing the size of the crown and being allowed to decay naturally, and so each case is considered on its merits and the requirements of the client.
Pittman Trees has operated throughout South Devon since 2007. We have many residential and commercial customers in Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Dartmouth, Totnes, Ivybridge, Torquay, Torbay and surrounding villages in the South Hams, Devon.
